Central Radiopharmaceutical Services Inc. (CRS) In 1970 UB established the first centralized radiopharmaceutical service. Today CRS occupies approximately 12,000 sq. ft. of space, which includes a state of the art 30 mEv cyclotron. The PET and solid target production is located in Parker Hall on the UB South Campus and the non PET operations are located at 840 Aero Drive Suite 150 near the Buffalo International airport.

Education Central Radiopharmaceutical Services Inc. (CRS) serves over thirty clinical sites and prepares twenty radiopharmaceuticals including a variety of cyclotron produced positron emission tomography (PET) agents. Products are packaged as either multi or unit dose. This wide range of products ideally situates CRS as a practical training site for students in the Nuclear Medicine Residency and Technology Programs as well as pharmacy students in the Pharmacy Doctoral Program, who are specializing in Nuclear Pharmacy. In addition training is provided for Nuclear Pharmacy Residents.
