Viewing the slides: As of September 1996 there are three methods available for viewing the slide presentations on this page. The latter two require machines running Win95, NT, or PowerPoint 7.0.

  1. Generic WEB browser (no special requirements): click on the title slide, or the title link at the top of the slide's text description to view a HTMLized version of the slides and their contents.
  2. PowerPoint Animation Player (Win95 or NT): Download this player which will permit you to click on the MS ActiveX Controls pageicon to view the presentation with all it's build effects (sounds, fades, etc.). After downloading a presentation, be sure to click on each slide (or use the right arrow) to activate builds or move on to the next slide. If you're running the MS Internet Explorer web browser, you can view the presentations without ever leaving it. Download your free copy here
  3. Download the actual PowerPoint presentation from the link below the description. To view the presentation you must have PowerPoint 7.0 (or greater), or download the free PowerPoint viewer (Win95 or NT) from Microsoft.

All presentations were created in PowerPoint 7.0 using the free HTML (beta 1.5 or higher required) and Animation export add-ons available for this software from the Microsoft WEB site.
