Method for assesing “time” effects on a study.
Contrasts are weights ( ci = af (timek) ) which the experimenter believes will predict the time sequence of scans.
Testing for bk= f (timek) for all k.
Warning: Contrast values are constrained by the fact that they must sum to zero (which can be obtained by removing a constant term from the f (timek) function).
