Patient 9A - 1st PET scan

History: 66 year old male with recently diagnosed squamous cell carcinoma of floor of oral cavity. Suggestion of lung metastasis on CT scan.

Impression: Abnormal 18-FDG regional scan with floor of mouth and right hemithorax accumulation. Atypical extension of head and neck malignancy versus a synchronous primary lung neoplasm.
