Patient 2

History: 68 year old male with newly diagnosed carcinoma of the distal esophagus who is being concidered for surgical resection.

Impression: Positive 18-FDG whole body image consistent with metabolically active neoplasia involving the distal third of the esophagus. No evidence for metastases.
