- Although eigenimages associated with the largest singular
values can be considered as basis modes which are present
in “most” of your image set, you must carefully
examine the temporal modes too to ensure that the
presence of that mode in each scan condition makes
temporal sense.
- Spatial modes are not unique. There are other orthonormal
basis sets that are possible; however, each such set of
eigenimages is a linear combination of the original
eigenimages found by SVD).
