EigenimagesInterpretation
EigenimagesInterpretation
- Each eigenimage, Ei*, represents a pattern of pixel
activity which is present in the entire scan series P.
- The extent to which an individual eigenimage is present
in the entire set of scans is determined by weighting it
with the product of its singular value Si (i.e.,
SiEi*).
- The extent to which an individual eigenimage is present
in a particular (nth) scan, nP*, is determined by
weighting its extent in the entire image set
(SiEi*) with its temporal contribution nTi in that
scan (i.e., nTiSiEi*).
