| The Center For Positron Emission Tomography is a Clinical and Research consortium comprised of the State University of New York at Buffalo Medical School / Department of Nuclear Medicine, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and the Lucy Dent Imaging Center of Millard Fillmore Hospital. Utilizing the technology of Positron Emission Tomography (PET), the staff explores a wide variety of diagnostic and research questions, currently emphasizing the areas of neurology, oncology, and cardiology. |
Automated 15O TAC measurement - Acquisition of arterial blood Time Activity Curves (TACs) Statistical Parametric Mapping (SPM) - statistical images of brain activation sites Reconstruction Filters - the impact of reconstruction filters on image interpretation Tracer Kinetic Modeling - tools, models, methods, etc. T+E - simultaneous transmission/emission, a rudimentary look |
